Objectives of the bachelor’s degree in
Graphic Design

The three-year bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design at Accademia del Lusso provides in-depth knowledge and specific skills for the role of Graphic Designer, a key figure in the field of visual communication. Through a combination of theoretical and practical lessons, the course shapes students into well-rounded professionals, equipped with artistic and technical skills that take into account the plurality of expressive languages and the innovations that characterise the contemporary world.

This course will enable you to carry out personal analysis and research and to develop your own work, both through traditional graphics and drawing and multimedia digital graphics. Other course objectives are to ensure a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of graphic design, including layout, typography, colour, imagery and branding, and to become familiar with the most advanced tools and technologies used in the industry. You’ll be encouraged to explore new ideas, develop your own sense of aesthetics, and understand the social and cultural role of design in contemporary society.

The role of the Graphic Designer is essential in today's industry, playing a fundamental role in the creation of corporate identities, marketing materials, advertising, packaging, websites and more. Graphic Designers are responsible for the visual communication of a brand or message in order to effectively communicate a concept or idea to the public.

Teaching Method

At Accademia del Lusso you will be taught by working professionals from the fashion and luxury sectors who have a wealth of knowledge and experience.

The bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design contains a mixture of different teaching and learning techniques to develop a varied skill set and ensure a dynamic learning experience.

Lectures are combined with workshops and project work both in and out of the school, and field trips to companies, fashion events, trade fairs, and important fashion locations will take place throughout the three years of the course.

01. Advertising Graphic Designer
The Advertising Graphic Designer creates visual materials for advertising campaigns, such as web banners, print ads and promotional videos, with the aim of communicating compelling messages and attracting the attention of the target audience.
02. Graphic designer for publishing
The Graphic Designer for Publishing is responsible for designing layouts, covers and illustrations for books, magazines and digital publications, ensuring that the design supports and enhances the editorial content while maintaining visual coherence and readability.
03. Packaging designer
The packaging designer develops the design of packaging for products, taking into account aesthetic, functional and marketing aspects. They create solutions that protect the product, attract the consumer's attention, and reflect the brand's identity.
04. Corporate in-house designer
The Corporate In-house Designer is a graphic designer who works in-house for a company, managing the production of visual materials such as logos, brochures, presentations and promotional materials to ensure that the design reflects the company's objectives and image.
