FROM TRASH TO FLASH – FASHION SHOW
Afro Fashion Association presents the fashion show “From Trash to Flash”, a project born out of the collaboration between Accademia del Lusso and LABA Douala, Free Academy of Fine Arts in Cameroon. The fashion show is included in the official fashion week calendar and is sponsored by the Municipality of Milan.
When and where
The event was held on Wednesday 21 February 2024 at 4:30 pm at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, in via G. C. Procaccini 4. Invitation only.
Upcycling and sustainability
The capsule collection of the "From Trash to Flash" fashion show applies the principle of upcycling to denim, promoting fashion that is sustainable, ethical, and open to cultural contamination.
